My friend has a 2003 350 he has looking for a wire to splice for his winch to only run when key is on when he used his power tester he said it arced and it don't start and no lights come on. The bike will start with pull start and everthing works just not when the key is on and motor is off what can be wrong?

he likely shorted the ignition switch wire and blew the fuse, check the ign. fuse and get back to me..
