I'm starting this thread so we can all share our ride we did during the week and the weeks to come.

This is for the guy that isn't in a large group or Jamboree.

This is just for someone who would like to share their ride with the Nyroc forum members on the Rides and Trail Talk Forum.

Ideas for posting.

1. Pictures

2. Small story

3. Ride was for Pleasure, Fishing, Camping, Family.

4. How many miles did you ride?

5. Anything out of the ordinary? Broke down? Wildlife? Big Foot Sighting?

Well we had plans on riding Moab this Memorial weekend and then family showed up so we ended up riding near Grand Junction. For any big holiday weekend we can count on the bookcliff area for less traffic and very few people in the area. That's because it's not that great for camping and fishing, but is by far the best for ATVing in the state. In two days we saw 4 people.

This area is full of wildlife and in this picture is some bear tracks.

In the bookcliffs you will find these old homesteads. This was at around 8000 feet.

Reno Again Thanks for the nice pictures for those of us, who can not make it out that way. Do you carry your camera around your neck all the time for those quick shots?

I have a fender bag that I keep the camera in unless I do a lot of water crossings, then I keep it in the top shirt pocket.

Spent Memorial weekend at our property in Central Utah. Did some exploring and found some primitive ATV trails.

Doing trails that barely allow an ATV to fit through is my kind of fun.

FTR, always nice to have a ATV trail or two out your back door. Looks like you have the Utah Bug big time, even have property Hey when I get real old can I rock on your porch and watch you ride off into the sunset on your King Quad 1400?

The more I visit Utah, the less I want to live in Vegas.

The first thing I'm going to build is a porch. Got to have a place to talk about the great ride we just had.

This weekend we hit the Uncompahgre National Forest, this was a ATV trail riding and fishing trip. Not a far distance from Grand Junction and well worth the ride away from the heat in the GJ valley.

This picture will give you an idea how high we were.

One of our fishing spots, the trail into this area we have been going now for 3 years. The winter is really making a mess into this place. Getting more and more like a horse trail every year.
