I have 28" on 12 x 12,
I love them..... a bit heavy, but the Prarie has plenty of power.
My next set is going to be 28's on 14 rims, ( this will actually make them like 29.5 tall in total ).
with this set-up, you may have to do a tiny bit of trimming, However, I also have a 2" lift on mine Plus heavy duty springs
What it does is make your bike taller, plus there is less rubber, so they are lighter.

I was thinking about the high lifter lift springs. I dislike how soft the front suspension is. Its really to bad that kawi didnt run a-arms up front. How do your mudzilla's wear?

I did alot of research on all tires before I bought mine, I have had mine for 4 years, and they still look brand new, and I do alot of riding.
I wanted a tire that wore great on Hardpack surfaces, and a great mud tire.
I used to ride out in the everglades, and we had to ride 8 miles down a hardpack levy to get to our drop off in the mud, and we used to do this Tuesday , friday Sat, and Sun. for 2 1/2 years,
So, 16 miles 4 days a week for 2 1/2 years, on hard pack, plus all of the mud riding, You can't beat this tire.
However, like I said, they are a heavy tire, they are definatley lighter on 14" rims cause of less rubber. So, Thats what I'm doing next, if these frigging tires ever wear out.

So you you recommend 27's..... 28's or should I just settle for 25's or 26's? I know the prairie has plenty of HP to turn just about anything. I would also only be using these tires on certain occasions. I live in Vermont so after the long winters the spring can get pretty sloppy, plus the occasional mudhole I know about.

Ok in my opinion, If you want a mudding tire go with 27's cause you don't have any sort of lift.
But If your not mudding all the time, You may want to seak a different tire, Unless, you are to keep your old set of rims & tires and be able to switch them out when ever you like.
But, that would mean if your buying Mudzillas, you would have to get a set of rims with them.

I got mine on a website, (onoffroad.com) for a reasonable price, ( that was 4 years ago, so I don't know if they changed pricing, product, etc.

Well I work in a motorcycle/atv shops, so I get everything at cost. I can get a set of 27-10-12 and 27-12-12 for $450. That was my plan to buy another set of wheels to put my dirt tamers on and then run my stock wheels with the mudzilla's. Do you recommend another mud tire? I just thing the muszilla is a gnarly looking tire and would really churn you through about anything.

F7, I will take some photos after I get it back together. I am replacing my clutch sheeves, because I've been mudding for so long, I wore out the sheaves, and I keep smoking belts.
I am actually done putting together the new clutch, but I am going through the whole bike & dielectric greasing every wire connection, for better waterproofing. I do this once a year as preventive maintinece.

I always do whats nessesary to to keep a great bike great! Very Important!

No, I went back to the stock sheaves, mine were just completely blown out.
But I did use the 08 brute force sheaves, with new shoes, and a new spider, used my same fly weights & flyweight bolts, and painted the sheave cap & new spider black... It looks great.
I'm still going through all my electrical with dielectric grease ( preventive maintenance ).
I got some info from mikeysboy, as far as using the new updated sheaves & spider.
