Here are the dimensions I used for the radiator shield. I had to do a little tweeking but this should get you in the ball park. I included the access panel to allow you to engage the winch.

Thanks for sharing the pattern for the guards. Nice idea on the access door. Nice looking guards.
What type of material is that? Looks like speaker grill material that I have used before.
Thanks
David

I though that stuff looked familiar to me. I have used a lot of that in my time.
i would have never thought about it for this. Very nice idea.
Thanks again.

Looks great, and that a lot of work went into it. I was wondering what all of you thought about using expanded steel. Also, do you have to have the guard extending past the back of rad. I have a new KQ450 with winch and full aluminum skid plates. Thanks

Yes, I have it extended past the back of radiator. You can see what I am talking about from the photo. It covers the front and back of the radiator.

Does this pattern work for both sides?

Yours looks good, though do you have much trouble washing out radiator from back side. Thanks

Nice. I was considering using plate aluminum, since I was worried about mud splashing through the guards. How well are yours keeping muck out?

Yes, the pattern works for both sides, only one side needs the winch flap. I used this pattern to cut the material and needed just some small trimming to get it to fit perfectly. I have had no problems using a garden hose to clean the back of radiator, but I don’t do a lot of mudding here in Southern California, it is pretty dry, 1” of rain here is considered a storm go figure.

Hey Thawk,

Would you be willing to make a set for me for a price? I don't need the winch access door.

Those are the best looking radiator guards I've seen yet.
