Hey guys, I'm just ordered my 3rd battery. I searched the forums about the batteries and decided to go with the "Motorcross" yuasa YTX20CH-BS. Check out this link http://www.tristatebattery.com/, not a bad price. It almost scares me that it's some cheap imitation.

$80 is a good price with free shipping. That is the right Yuasa model. I bet they just put a nice sticker on it since the case looks exactly the same.

I noticed on Yuasa's site they have a cross reference and theres only two for the YTX20CH-BS. One by Motorcross and one by Interstate. $80 is a good price.

I guess my Yuasa was never set up correct from the dealer I think since thats what it had on it new and it only lasted about a year. I hear everyone on here saying good things about them so if you get it set up right it should be a good one!

Odyssey is the only ATV battery I will ever buy from now on though!!!!!!! I cant say enough good things about it!

My battery will not turn the machine over, so I hook it up to my smart charger, after a few hours it works perfect, all day.

Let it sit a few days, and it's dead again.

So I went to the Battery Store, and they have the YTX20CH-BS, and when I asked if they were prepped or not, she gave me a funny look. When I explained the apparent issue with AGM batteries, and the proper way to soak the mat, let it sit for 1-2hrs and charge at 1.5-2amps, she looked at me like I was retarded. Said they provide batteries for all the dealers in the area and she's never heard of such a crazy, insane thing as I was explaining.

Also, the 20 was about an inch longer, so I ended up with the 16... it is the same exact dimensions as the one I pulled out.

And people wonder why batteries fail. Just goes to show you don't have to know squat to be a salesperson.

You can't fix stupid. She obviously has a full mental hard drive and no new knowledge can take hold. Buy only what is sealed, unopened, and un-molested from such a place as that. They know not whereof they speak, and refuse to learn.
