Posts: 21 Tuscaloosa, Alabama , USA	i have a kingquad 450 it has a vdi on it it will idle with the choke on for about a minute and i have to crank it back up. i crank it up again and turn the choke on its idles fine but it backfires down in the throttle body and out the muffler what the crap is wrong with this thing. what is causing this please help if u can. thanks

Posts: 21 Tuscaloosa, Alabama , USA	I think I got it figured out I had some dirt and oil on my throttle body so I cleaned it and now it runs alot better but do u know of anything else I can do or try

Posts: 670 keene, New Hampshire , USA	With the throttle held in to keep it from dieing spray it in and hold it there for like 30 sec. Then let off the gas and let it die. Then let it sit for like five minutes then restart and your done.

Posts: 1221 Keithville, Louisiana , USA	Off Topic a bit so Sorry in advance - Evilking - I was just changing the oil in my 4.3 Chevy Blazer and I decided to spray a little carb and choke cleaner into the throttle body and clean it while I was changing the air filter. To my surprise, there was a thick black ring of sludge around the inside of the throttle body. I soaked it in carb and choke cleaner and wiped and scrubbed out what I could get my fat little fingers to. Will the Sea Foam do any better? The engine runs good, but started getting terrible gas mileage and I was a couple of thousand (10 or 20 thousand) over the scheduled oil change. I flushed the motor and put in synthetic 10w30 and all new filters. I really hate to have to pull the throttle body and have it cleaned, but I suspect the entire intake probably looks like the throttle body. I wish there was a foam that could be sprayed in to clean it all out.
