Just got my slip on HMF utility exhaust in, and thought I'd post a pic before I install it. Once it's in, I'll take some video w/ audio so you can hear it as well.

I'm contemplating waiting for my VDI to get here on the 9th to install this thing. I wonder if the stock ECU will compensate for the change in back pressure...

I don't think the stock ECU would compensate for back pressure change but it would be cool to hear your thoughts on the power increase if any before you add the VDI. It would also give you an idea on how much each mod adds and would help others out in picking what they want to do.

good luck installing it. i had to machine mine to make it even close to the right measurements to meet up with the header pipe.

Finally had a chance to install this thing. It fits beautifully, and sounds like an RMZ450. The things loud as all hell now. I did take a video as promised, so here you go : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIzmWkrWGOo&feature=youtube_gdata
I still plan to wrap it with sil-temp to insulate it, if you're wondering. Last thing I want to have to do is replace my plastics.

I got the quiet core for it today... about a day too late. I went for a ride yesterday, and pissed off a couple of hunters in the area... oops! On a side note, I installed my VDI when I got home and damn! I wish I would have gotten that first!
