Has anyone installed any of the yellow High Lifter Springs. I ride two people most of the time and the rear sags like crazy. I read where they can give you close to an inch more of ground clearance. Would putting springs like that put any more stress on everythin?

I use them. I always ride two up and I used to bottom out my shocks. Actually blew the seal out on one of them and had to replace it. Since putting on the HL springs, no more bottoming out!

I like them and yes I picked up an inch. I know a guy on here that has a neat tool for changing them out.

Looks like I need to go ahead and order those things. Always trying to get all the clearance I can for some of the places we ride down here. My rear fenders were rubbin a little sometimes since I put the 28" Outlaws on there.

I ride them on the softest setting, even when 2 up. They work great.
When I bought my tracks they said the King needs a lift kit to run them. They said the springs would be fine since the recommended lift was 1 inch to run the tracks.

Here's the suspension angle with the softest setting.

I have them too. It's a good way to achieve more clearance without altering the engineered specs of accepted operating range for the CV joints. And it prevents bottoming out due to a passenger, my lardass, and the whack of stuff I carry in the rear rack box all the time.

Duane, if I only weighed 96lbs soaking wet, I would have left the stock springs on. You are a credit to the male gender and a living poster against overindulgence.

Man I bet those tracks would tear some mud up around here.

I can't even remember when I weighed 96lbs! Too much Widmer Hefeweizen out of the keg fridge lately pushed me to the 160 mark.
I just saw an episode of Dirt Trax TV which put the new version of the Tatou 4S tracks to the test in the dirt. Pretty amazing what they can do.

axe911, the cheapest place I found them was from Chris in parts at forum sponsor , ATLAS. I really like them for plowing snow. The front end does not kiss the ground now every time I pick up the blade.
