If all goes good.. I will be getting a King Quad in the future.
I plan to have it as a Multipurpose Quad.
Could I run 29.5 Outlaws or 28" Silverbacks without doing the floorboard mod?
I also plan to run 27" XTR's and some C-Series or SS's for a primary tire.
And the stock tires and wheels for a drag race/stunt tire wheel combo.
My question is.. could the 29.5's clear without having a big lift kit on it? My reason asking is, becuase I don't want it to look goofy when I throw 27" XTR's or the stockers on. I plan to do some good muddin' with it.. but not compromise my options of trail riding.
Any help would be appreciated. This picture is shown with 29.5" Laws and a 3" Lift.

I'd say if youre gonna go 29.5", then youre gonna need to do the floorboard mod.........
28" silverbacks, not sure, but I would think so............
Let me know when you get the King, tires and wheels, and I'll hook ya up with the floorboard mod, if you need it

Sweet. Thanks Quik. I guess the floorboard mod wouldn't hurt none?
What do you think about a lift wise? Do you think I can get away with Scionizer's 1.25" Spacers with 28" Silverbacks?

I dont think so, only cause the 27" XTR'S are already close in some spots. I dont think the spacers would do the trick. You would probably have to get a bonafide lift kit

Yeah. Do you think that the 27" XTR's would look goofy with a 3" Lift?

Sweet!
Thanks!
So I looked at Trax Motorsports for a Tire/Wheel combo for the Backs, and the Laws.
For the 28" Silverbacks on 12" SS212's it would be $1,043.00
For the 29.5" Outlaws on 12" SS212's it would be 1,111.93
What do you think I should go with? They are only $70 some bucks apart.

TrailBuck, I put the 28" Outlaws on my 700 last week. I had to do the floorboard mod to keep from rubbing the brace in the back. I have a 3" lift on it so I imagine the 29.5's will rub. With the lift and floorboard mod i think 29.5's would fit fine, I wish i would have gotten 29.5's now but the 28's do pretty good.

Quik...
The only way to get 14" Rims on a Silverback is to go to 30" or 32" , and the only 14" Outlaw is the 31's. I'm not going that big. I dont want to be snapping anything.
Thanks for all the help gang!
By the looks of Triple J's King, 3" Lift dont look bad at all with 27's.
I think thats what I'm gonna do. 3" Lift, floor board mod.
Now.. mudders.. what do you think is better for the price.. 28" Backs or 29.5" Laws?
Thanks!

I'd go with the 29.5 Laws. I watched a guy on a Polaris 800 snap both front axles yesterday. He had 30" Silverbacks i believe. It wasnt a good sound.

Ouch.. yeah I would imagine it didn't sound to good to the guy who was riding the Popo!
Anyways.. Yeah I was leaning towards the 29.5's , but I really like the backs. Oh well. I'll know when time comes. I think I'm jus. Gonna go with the Laws though, becuase they look sweet on the Kings!!
I just don't want to go too big that I would have to get Gorilla Axles to handle the big tires.
One more question for the night ... Should I get Outlaw Skinnys all the way around, or fattys in the rear and skinnys in the front?
Thanks guys!
- Out for the night.. TrailBuck.

I did the skinnys all the way around and I am happy so far with them. They pull so much better than the 27" ITP Mud Lights I had on there before. I ride two people all the time and I was going through some holes with the Outlaws the I always got stuck in with the Mud Lights. You will be happy mud riding with whatever size you go with.
