Down here in Moab there is a rider with an 05 KQ, as the topic states, dies at idle when 4 wd button is pushed, and stalls when warm when running a moderate speeds. The owner has replaced the injector body and all related sensors,stator,ign trigger,swapped ECU's, fuel pump and relay.Coil, sparkplug,have been replaced. I searched back several pages, thought I had seen something on this, didn't find. Looked in tech too. Only the rectifier/regulator has not been changed. Any thoughts?

Here's one right from left field... tell him to take the taillight bulb/socket etc. apart and clean and dielectric grease it all.

No codes. Glen....that sounds like baseball....right from left field  I'll tell him that one!!
I told him he aught to do that to all connections. On todays ride it would backfire rather loudly.

Also tell him to loosen his battery terminals, all the high amp contacts, loosen or take apart, clean them and re-tighten. Even if they 'look' good. Clean them and re-tighten.

I think he has it narrowed down to a wiring problem, he can check that at home. Thanks for the input.
