Nice. If they offer this same setup with the Thundercat, it would be sweet.

They're gonna sell a boatload of those units. Thats a huge step in the right direction. Hopefully every other brand follows.

Never in a million years would I think a major ATV manufacture would do something like this. This is really thinking outside the box. Now here is the $1000 question? What about the states that outlaw snorkels on ATV's? Maine for example?

I agree, bold move with AC.

Reno, maybe the rules are, you can not modify the "stock" snorkels.

So with the lower gearing then put smaller tires, it would make a great rock crawler.

For A company that is based in MN why make something that is outlawed same as for the thundercat both are outlawed here. Like the set up though.

It would be legal in MN, the law states you can't snorkel higher than the stock location. It's stock

I'm just glad i live In Tennessee. Tn is moreless a pro atv state. I can't believe they outlaw snorkels. What is outlawed in Minnesota??? In the southern states such as Tn,AL,Ga,Ms,LA, and Texas Mud racing & riding is HUGE. It will be a Great seller there. I just can't get over it being outlawed.

MN states you can't snorkel more than 6" higher than the stock location (except in one atv park), my guess is they are trying to eliminate people riding in wet land areas.

We only have one real atv park here, the rest are trail systems.

You mean to tell me its illegal to snorkel more than 6inches than stock and the Thundercat is illegal too? What does it matter whether the snorkels are higher than stock?

Yep and all this coming from a Minnesota company

It's the DNR's way of keeping people out of lakes and wetlands which are illegal to ride.

I just can't get over Arctic cat offing this machine at all. I'm stunned, and impressed. Is there even a warranty? I assume it's downright waterproof from the axle seals to the snorkel tops. It looks like a rhino with the snorkels on it. Ironic...
The offering of the Thundercat didn't impress me a whole lot. Bigger CC's - it was bound to happen. My BF750 is already a gas hog and a bigger engine would make its range shorter or more expensive to run.

But this....this is incredible.

trailbuster

Yes I agree with you whole heartily. I think this falls in line with the Polaris RZR for thinking outside the box. And as Polaris has a hard time making the RZR fast enough for demand, I too see this with the New 2009 Arctic Cat 700 H1 EFI Mud Pro Utility ATV.

With the economy going south for the next 8 years the manufactures really have to temp you to let go of your hard earned money.

It will be interesting to see what others have in store.
