I changed my stock fan and went with a 10'' pro comp fan no more over heating. i ran it to a tog switch.just shut it off befor going in to water..

Cost, fit, did you bypass the stock switch/thermostat or just add a "hot switch" to it?

2005 Brute force 750. Elka suspension. Dyna ignition. Dg-6 box. Warn winch with synthetic rope. Richochet skids. HMF Full exhaust. "V-force John" primary clutch. DG S/S Tie-rods. Swamp-lites. Fixed front and rear Buss nightmares. S/S brake lines. All Amsoil lubes.
Lots of rough miles and as reliable as can be.
2006 Brute IRS 650 stocker for the wife.

IT cost 58.00 for the fan and 8.99 for the switch and wire.i will post some pic on thursday.this works great no more over heating.we went out riding this weekend for about a 4hr ride and it ran great,went in some deep mud .just shut of the fan be for going in water or mud.i ride with 5 other 08 brute and now thay all changed to a 10'' pro comp fan..or you can try this fan it called Torqflo (( 733670 )) 10'' amp draw is 5.4..CMF is 650..weight is 2.95 .. it covers 10 7/8 x 11 3/8..thay both come with the mounting kits..dont use the stock wire run your own switch and wires..you will have to take off your front plastic that takes about 1hr,then take the stoke fan off 3 bolts unplug the wire and put a plastic bag over and tape them off.now take a light and check how much mud and junk is is the rad.wash it good..
put your new fan on..run your wires and new rocker switch i put mine next to the air box.. ok now when you hook your wire up to the fan you want it to suck the air to the rear,,not blow out the front..  it all take about 3hr with washing it..
