Hmm. I cant remember. I know they are 12 inch wheels and they are 25's..but I can t remember the width of them and I am on the road for a couple of weeks so I cant check. I got the the tires and wheels from my dealer. I am not sure who supplies him. I got the rest of the stuff from California. ATVgalaxy.com
Cheers

one of the GF on the Brute in Moab (7 mile rim trail)
scramblin man, you should ride your stock brute for a while to get the feel for it before you put the Elkas on. that way you will appreciate what the Elkas do for the ride. they are great. what model of Elkas did you get?
BF1, i won't try to top your snow pictures lol. you have some great pics.

Scramblingman, from the pics they look like 25/10/12 on the front, and 25/12/12 on the rear. Does that sound familiar? And Mudlite XTR's correct??

Hey Monty.....Thanks for the input. I was contemplating waiting for a bit to get the feel for the new machine Vs my 05 Brute. I will probably run it a couple of 100km before I put the Elkas on. I will be getting the fully adjustable ones. The units just below the Elites. I hope they are worth it. They are pretty pricy. Where is that pict taken? Looks like a pretty cool spot.

Hey Hollow
They are Mud Light XTR's and that sounds about right for the size. I wish I could tell you how I like them Vs my regular Mud Lights but I am out of town and I havent had time to ride it yet. All I can do is look the picture just like you....lol. Sucks to be me.

Scramblingman,
Why did you decide to get the 25" tires on your new Brute instead of sticking with 26" tires that are on your 05. Just curious, having a little trouble deciding between the two. That sucks you cant ride, at least you can still see your machines online, could be worse. Thanks for all of the info.

Well....I went with the 25'' because I am more of a go fast trail rider than a mudder. So I wanted to stay light, stay fast and sacrifice no handling. From running my new machine down the back alley a couple of times, I can notice a huge difference already. I cant tell you if its the tire, the size of the tire or both that makes the difference.

Pettersville, AK, 2005. The past year I have been with 28in mud Lites. I can still hit 65mph, and it flings mud past my fenders extreamely well! I have outpreformed, every machine in the mud I have been ridding with, The only machine I have not riddin with is the Outlander. Just my opinion. Each tire size has its ups and downs.

scramblin man, thant pic was taken on the 7 Mile Rim trail at Moab, right between the Monitor ane Merrimac buttes.
those are the same Elkas that i have on my brute. i diddn't go for the Elite models because of the added complexity. i thought dialing them in would be harder. i think they can be upgraded whenever we wish, too.
i also decided to run 25" tires to keep the low gear ratio and keep the speedo kinda close.

Where did you pick up your Elkas? And do you mind me asking how much you paid for all four?? And how long did they take to build them?

I think the picts have to smaller than 100Kb. I had to resize mine in Photo Editor. What part of NS are ya from? How is the riding down there?? I was in NB this summer riding around the Fundy coast. It was excellent.

The xtr's when I checked only come in 8" front and 10" rear in the 25". The square tread gives them a wider look. You have to go 26" for minimum 9" front 11" rear or bigger..
