Check out the Garmin website for lots of accessories for your Garmin GPS product.

They make high quality mounts for handlebars, windshields, and universal mounts as well. They also make a wide range of accessories for their Rino series of Radio/GPS units that combine a GMRS radio and a 12-channel GPS in ONE unit.

I agree.
I have used an old GPS II+ and III+ for years.
Now I have a pair of Rino radio/gps units, and they are way cool. Good stuff.
Made well, works well.

miskywhisky,
Go to the Garmin website and look high and low, at one time I thought they sold such an attachment. If your nuvi doesn't have "track log"(bread crumb trail)you're missing out. If your nuvi has has "track log" PLEASE let me know which model you have.

Thanks, Nuck.

miskywhisky,

OK great I was hoping one had this feature, I'll check it out for sure. www.everytrail.com is great for using your track log to impose those tracks onto a satelite view. I've done twice and it's free to.

Alright it's beautiful day gotta go to the Delaware River and burn some fuel on the ski.

@Full fuel on the river, Nuck.

I bought a Garmin handle bar mount for my Garmin GPS60cx and I bent over getting on my quad one day and broke
the cheap plastic bottom half of the mount. It does not have a ball mount either to be able to move it around on the socket. Mine looks just like the picture in the above posting with the yellow GPS (JUNK) It sits on my handle bar of my Rinconon in a bad angle hard to see.

Do your research and buy a mount with a ball & socket so you can move it around not be mounted in one way rigid mount only. It does have a quick release mount. This mount might work better on some quads if? you have room for it to sit near the speedo looking at you straight in your face.

Garmin 60csx or sx model best you can buy for a portable! Only GPS to have new WAAS technology, picks up satellites throught heavy follage/tree cover. Cx will save you $50 over the Csx only difference is mountain elevation. Bread crumbs totally awsome unit easy on battery's, very ruggid easy to use unit.
Garman not Garmin get it!

RAM adjustable aluminum mounts with the optional stainless hardware are the way to go. Here's the one to get for you 60 series owners. On my Rancher, I notched out the side of the plastic surround for the instrumentation. The base is mounted down near the bar clamps and the mount arm comes out the side of the plastic where I clearanced it. The GPS sits off to the left just enough to not obstruct the instruments and is down between the bars so it won't get damaged by limbs and such.

Thanks TnRancher:
I will check out that web-site. It would be nice to see your set-up any chance to copy in a picture?
If the mount is aluminum with a ball & socket sounds like just what I'm looking for.
Thanks

Here's some pics of my setup. It's the same mount as the link I posted above except the cradle is for a eTrex Legend series.
