If you haven’t had the time to read though the pdf of the House ObamaCare bill & don’t have any particular weekend plans, here are some pretty frightening highlights you can start with.

Take a look at what actually is in the Health Care bill. Obama makes disingenuous comments like “You’ll still keep your doctor” or “You’ll keep your existing health care.” He is either lying to us or he has no idea what is in it. Take a peek at the full report, or look at some of the highlights here:
Pg 22 of the HC Bill mandates the Government will audit books of all employers that self insure. Can you imagine what that will do to small businesses? Every one will abandon “self insurance” and go on Government insurance. So when Obama says that there will still be private health care, it’s simply a lie: this mandate will force employers to abandon their private plans.
Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill – a Government committee (good luck with that!) will decide what treatments/benefits a person may receive.
Pg 29 lines 4-16 in the HC bill – YOUR HEALTHCARE WILL BE RATIONED! (We all knew this, because health care is rationed in Canada and Britain, but Obama kept saying it would not be).
Pg 42 of HC Bill – The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your HC Benefits for you. You will have no choice!

Intrailhunter - thanks for listing a few of the points from the actual plan. This is a horrible plan. Completely disgusting. What's really scary is that I am afraid that this plan will be approved. I think it's going to kill allot of Americans. Here in Shreveport, Louisiana, I think that we have several great health care facilities and some decent back up choices. ER over crowding is an issue with some of our private hospitals. I have not seen any critical patients denied and the law states and is clearly posted that all patients will be stabilized. Those without health care coverage will be sent to the appropriate facility. Do I agree with the law? Yes and no. I've taken my wife to the ER on several occasions for some kidney issues. The problem lies in the fact that the ER is overcrowded with colds and scrapes and headaches. All though the hospital has to triage the patients, there are so many, that it can take hours to get into triage to find out which ones need an ER Bed and which ones don't. If it's determined that you are in need of Emergency Care, it could be too late. You almost have to walk into the ER and fall on the floor in front of the admitting staff to bypass the hundreds of people who need their daily fix of lortab. This is the problem with private ER's. Not the staff, not the hospital, but the BS cases waiting to be triaged. We have 7 private ER Hospitals in our area, so it can sometimes benefit you to visit our local university medical center. It is the only Level One Trauma center in the northern half of Louisiana and is staffed with medical students and has a reputation of being the best burn center and trauma room anywhere. Let's say on an average night there are some 20 - 50 flu cases sitting in the private ER - that's somewhere around 140 to 200 patients between the seven hospitals. Leaving a fair chance that the university hospital might have a few less patients due to location. Much easier to reach the private ER in most cases. The university is also a charity hospital where billing is based on income and all, every, no one turned away health care. My issue with Chicago is that university hospitals are, in most states, income based billing with open doors. If a medical school Hospital is turning away patients, there is a huge problem!!!!!!!!!!! I'm talking a Hurricane Katrina sized problem.
We have another advantage in town now and I could see, with proper management, some huge advantages that would work for both private and public hospitals. It's called the $40 doctor. That's not the real name, but the point is that a company has moved to town and for $40, you can see a real ER doctor in an office setting, get your cuts stitched up, your lortab for your headache, your casts, almost anything short of surgery. I've spoken to the staff and I know many employers who are switching to $40 healthcare for Work Comp cases and for the first time, employees and employers love the doctors and do not feel that they are biased to either side. This seems to be a winning program if you could get those patients out of the ER and into the $40 clinics. For the labor cost alone, it would benefit the ER to pay for you to go to the $40 clinic and provide a shuttle to the clinic every hour on the hour. The hospitals are paying the staff to triage, admit and stabilize as well as transport those who have been stabilized and need further care. Somehow, ER Doctors have found that they can make a good living by going and working at these $40 clinics. The patients are thrilled and the staff is always good spirited. It seems to be a winning program.
So - if the clinics could open up shop on every corner of town and keep their bills paid and the public getting good care, I say go for it. I've worked in the ER's doing my medic rotations. The staff's are wonderful, but they are over run with bogus cases. I have a choice, pay my $50 or $75 co-pay for an ER Visit and wait for hours to be seen or walk into a quick care facility and pay $40 and go home in an hour.
Let me throw in one more bogus case - my boss says that if I call in at work, I cannot return without a doctor's excuse - I have no choice but to go to an ER and become the bogus case. I can't make a doctor's appointment since the waiting list is anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks. So my alternative is the ER. Again, if I'm receiving great care at the $40 clinic, there's my personal choice. No more bill's for the aspirin, pillows, sheets, separate bills for the hospital and doctors and all of the other issues that I will be faced with by visiting an ER.
Am I for patient dumping? Private hospitals - maybe, public hospitals - I'll go out when the cops drag me out! The Obama's have no right to be pushing this bogus healthcare reform when alternatives exist. Small towns might take issue with the $40 clinics since most of the hospitals are privately held and they are paying for staff to sit around 24/7 without patients. I can see income woes being an issue. But, you do not see these small town hospitals "patient dumping".
I think there are great alternatives and I think that the administration should pull federal funding from public hospitals if they are caught patient dumping and send these funds to the many great private hospitals that might be struggling, starting in areas with low populations and low patient counts since they have a lack of patients to keep their doors opened. Do some research! There are hospitals closing from lack of business. Obama could even work with the low volume struggling facilities and turn them into profitable $40 clinics with ER access on site.
I'll go away with this remark - more research and alternative probing is needed. My experience with the clinics is only my opinion having worked in the ER's and visited the clinics in my work as part of my job. But options have to be explored. Obama needs to leave our insurance alone and then he can dump the trillions back to us to cover our co-pays and prescriptions. That would be a stimulus package and healthcare reform all rolled into one and earn him high marks!

British General "Gentleman Johnny" Burgoyne described the rebellious American colonists as nothing but a "rabble in arms" and a "preposterous parade." That was shortly before he was forced to surrender his army to the "rabble" after they soundly defeated his army of seasoned professional soldiers at the Battle of Saratoga.
Faced with a growing contingent of angry Americans furious with their thinly disguised attempt to shove socialized medicine down their throats, the trembling Chicago-bred thuggery in the White House are sounding like Gentleman Johnny, describing them as a "mob" — another way of calling them rabble.
The nutcase speaker of the House, on the other hand, thinks those angry protesters showing up at town halls sponsored by her fellow Democrat House members are too well-dressed to be mere rabble — she says they're really rich Republicans making believe they are rabble.
These people are puzzled. Like numerous foreign foes who looked scornfully on the American people, seeing them as mere country bumpkins badly in need of chastisement by their European superiors, Obama's crew in Washington badly misjudged the character of the citizenry of the United States.
In their arrogance they thought that they could disprove Lincoln's admonition that you can't fool all of the people all of the time simply because they were able to get away with it some of the time. And so they went a step too far and tried to sell the nation their version of the Brooklyn Bridge, and they're getting the no-sale sign.
Their reaction, plain for all to see? Panic. They are becoming unhinged, even calling on Americans to rat on their neighbors who dare to dispute the divine wisdom issuing forth from the seat of all that is good and noble. Only Barack Obama and his henchmen know what’s good for the rabble.
Before the summer is over, they will get a sound education in the character of the American people who will have had an opportunity to confront their representatives face to face and give them a dose of good old American common sense delivered in plain language: Knock it off or get ready to return to private life, devoid of all the goodies to which they have become accustomed.
Arrogance goes hand-in-hand with ignorance, and ignorance wallows in contempt for those who dare to question the majestic wisdom coming out of Valhalla, D.C. The administration cannot live with the idea that there are Americans out there who refuse to acknowledge that they do not know what is good for them. In almost twenty years of full time activism, rarely have I seen such an uproar as we’re seeing over Comrade Obama and Congress’ attempt to take over another private industry. My email box has been deluged with hundreds of messages every day for weeks about this so called health care reform. Americans have read the fine print and gone ballistic, as well they should. The wrath of the American people is long over due.
These craven jackals in Congress have become fearful of the American people exercising their right to demand their elected representatives in Congress do what they want, not what special interests pay these prostitutes to do for them. As a result, the usual propaganda has been unleashed on the “mobs” attending town hall meetings. Americans who understand what is at stake are being attacked with the precision of what was done in Stalinist Russia.
Cable networks are filling the airwaves with enough gas from “experts” to fuel every car in America for the next ten years. Keith Olbermann, master of manipulating the truth, is one of the ring leaders attempting to take the focus away from the real issue regarding health care “reform” to the worn out America doesn’t want a black president. Here’s a clue for the factually challenged Olbermann: Comrade Obama is half Caucasian and half Negro. The issue isn’t skin color, it is the fact that Obama/Soetoro is an usurper; a devout Marxist who has his agenda and he’s rolling forward at hyper speed.
Bill Press, who suffers from a common condition throughout America affecting millions of men, absence of testicles, said, “Town hall ‘bullies’ are ‘taking a page right out of a Nazi playbook.” He’s so ignorant he doesn’t even know our legal form of government. Sorry, Bill, America is not a democracy. Press isn’t alone with his medical condition. Congressman Perlmutter [D-CO] sat at a desk hidden behind a wall at his recent town hall meeting so he wouldn’t have to face his constituents!
Lost in all the hysteria being pumped out by these wretched outlaws in Congress and the liars for hire in the MSM is the real question: Does Congress have any legal authority under Art. 1, Sec. 8, in the U.S. Constitution to legislate health care or treatment within the states of the Union? No.
Health care is not a “human right.” It is not a constitutional right.
Go read Art. 1, Sec. 8 of the Constitution. No where is Congress authorized to set up, run or legislate in the area of medical care, health care or whatever you want to call it. None. I’ve been watching the videos of the town hall meetings. In a couple of them, Americans have stood up at the microphone and said the government has no right to legislate health care in this country. Get government out of our health care system! Excellent.
Tens of millions of Americans will tell you they support the Constitution, but if it interferes with what they want or need, toss it. Instead of booting the outlaws in Congress who have destroyed the finest health care in the world over the past 50 years, throw out the law of the land instead. And, people wonder why Americans are fighting their fellow Americans over this phony “health care reform”? The Constitution matters.
Many of the provisions in the bill are outright control of medical treatment and telling doctors and health care workers what they can or can’t do and what they will be forced to do despite the rhetoric oozing from supporters of this grotesque legislation. What have the courts ruled in the past?

I was in a Subway sandwich shop this Saturday and the manager was making my sandwich, and my big mouth and inquisitive mind I asked if business has been good? He replied it could be better. It's all over for Obama. Only six months into his first term the economy is tanking into oblivion; tax revenues are falling the fastest since the Great Depression; deficits are rising to record highs never before imagined; Obama's polls already make him (at this point in any Presidency) one of the most unpopular Presidents in modern history; and the citizens are headed for full scale revolt as Obama ignores this economic Armageddon and throws caution to the wind in order to play out his Socialist experiment- spending trillions more on universal healthcare, cap and trade, and soon…a second stimulus. It's all coming apart at the seams. Obama has created a citizen revolution.
Obama and his paranoid Socialist minions are compiling an “Enemies List” and they are not even shy about it- they publicly announce they want citizens to send them negative emails and stories about his universal healthcare. Note to Obama: Be sure to add this commentary one to the list. I'm proud to oppose Socialism.
As riots breakout at Town Hall Meetings, Obama tries to intimidate the citizenry by calling patriots and heroic American citizens unwilling to accept a Socialist takeover of our economy…a mob. Some mob. This mob is as All-American as you can get. The are high on drugs…Geritol. They're armed to the teeth…false teeth. And they have weapons…canes and walkers. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Dodd and Frank are being attacked by a mob of senior citizens and parents and grandparents…scared and angry because Obama is enslaving their children and grandchildren to a lifetime of big government, big spending, big taxes, big deficits, big debt, and big unions.
These heroic American citizens actually recognize Socialism when they see it. They recognize unsustainable debt. They recognize redistribution of wealth. They recognize Obama's brand of thug capitalism- when government fraudulently hands ownership of GM and Chrysler to the same unions that destroyed them in the first place. They recognize cronyism in the corporate bailouts and stimulus plans- when Obama transfers trillions of dollars from taxpayers to his campaign contributors and friends (ACORN). They recognize a cover up- when Obama blames the healthcare crisis on everyone BUT lawyers, because he is a lawyer, his radical wife is a lawyer, their best friends and advisors are lawyers, their biggest campaign contributors are all lawyers.
This heroic group of American citizens that Obama calls a “mob” recognizes hypocrisy when they see it- as Obama takes school choice away from minority children in Washington DC, while he sends his precious daughters to elite $40,000 per year private schools. They recognize fraud as Obama demands we all sacrifice- except for union bosses and union employees. This mob sees the truth- that a true hero like Abraham Lincoln saved the union, while Obama only cares about saving the auto union…the teachers union…and the government employees union.
They see Obama staring at economic Armageddon, and yet planning to spread the “Michigan model” to the entire country. When confronted with peaceful but angry citizen protestors, Obama calls in union thugs and goons to intimidate the citizens. It's amazing what you can buy with billion dollar handouts and bribes to unions.
They see Obama demanding we all go “green”- while Congress orders new private jets that cost hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars and will use more fuel in a few flights than millions of citizens in their cars for a year combined. And this angry “mob” of seniors recognizes a future of healthcare rationing run by government bureaucrats who will decide who lives and dies based on hypocrisy, cronyism and unsustainable levels of debt. They rightfully wonder whether union members will receive special privileges from the healthcare commission, while the rest of us are left to die?
Yes, Obama you have a Citizen Revolution on your hands- just as I predicted in my new book, “The Conscience of a Libertarian: Empowering the Citizen Revolution with God, Guns, Gambling & Tax Cuts.” But I'm not preaching or desiring violence. We don't need violent revolution in America. We have freedom. We have free speech. We have elections. And we have a right to THROW THE BUMS OUT.
I am asked on hundreds of radio talk shows, “What can we do to stop Obama from Socializing America?” The answer is simple. Let your voices be heard. Call radio talk shows. Attend Town Hall meetings with your Congressmen. Write letters to the editor. Hound your elected officials, from the U.S. Senate down to the local dog catcher. Let them know first hand of your outrage. We need protests from those people that work for a living, and create jobs, and build businesses, and pay far more than our fair share of taxes. It's time to shout, scream, clench our fists in rage, and most importantly, offend. The time for politeness and manners is long since past. This man Obama and his mob of Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank and Rangel are trying to destroy our economy, highjack capitalism, and enslave our children and grandchildren to a lifetime of crushing debt; redistribution of wealth through destructive taxes; a perpetual welfare state; and a Big Brother takeover of every aspect of our lives. It's time to take action before there is no economy or country to save.
But the best thing we can all choose to do is to take back power peacefully- through elections. In 2010 and 2012 we can execute a plan to THROW THE BUMS OUT. And I don't just mean Obama and the Democrats. Throw them all out. Every single incumbent. Even the Republicans, and the so-called Blue Dog Democrats. They are all guilty. They are all part of the problem. It is through the compromises of “moderate” Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats that big government, big spending and big taxes have been enabled. It was Bush who started this mess- with excessive spending, record-setting growth of government, stimulus plans, and bailouts. Bush and the Republicans enabled Obama. They opened the door to Socialism. Our job as citizens and taxpayers is to vote against every single incumbent politician in the country.
Let's send a message heard 'round the world- just like our Founding Fathers in 1776. But don't just vote against every incumbent. For the first time in your life, vote for third party candidates who will actually cut government, not just talk about it. Vote for Libertarians (like me) who don't support corporate welfare or bailouts. Who won't vote for earmarks. Who don't support the expansion of the welfare state. Who don't want to punish success. Who don't believe it's greedy to want to keep more of your own money. Who have no interest in becoming career politicians.
Vote for citizen politicians who actually want to affect dramatic change in Washington, and then go back home to their families and businesses. Who want to actually reduce their own power…who want to make their own office less important…who want less control over your life…who actually believe in personal responsibility…who actually want to cut their own budgets…who don't want to “bring home the bacon” to their own districts, but instead do what's right for the entire country. Who will choose to vote NO on any bill that increases spending, raises taxes, or grows government.
This is the Citizen Revolution that is within our grasp. This is our 1776. Let's set the goal right now: Not one incumbent shall remain in office by November of 2012. Not one. That's our goal. THROW THE BUMS OUT.

Slowly but surely, the Democrats are exploding. Their own words are coming back to bite them, and will continue to do so. And the American people are starting to listen.
Democrat, Republican or Independent, this is the kind of thing that everyday Americans, people who love their country and just want to live their lives without government involvement, cannot stand to see. Kudos to the House Republican Conference for putting this video out. It's new--it only came to me about 45 minutes ago--but I'm fairly certain that it will get play tonight on the right cable news shows. Let's make sure that, by the time those shows roll around, the people are seeing this video for the second time.
Get it out there. Send it to your friends. Let's destroy the Democrats with their own words, with their own agenda, with their own arrogance. And lets make sure we have a GOP that has learned its lesson, and that can give us the laissez faire approach to governance that our economy and society needs so desperately.

The people at these town hall meetings are so middle aged and guess what.....They vote!
Come 2010 they don't have to raise a voice to be heard. They will use the VOTE to get these socialists out of office.

But all in the name of security they say it must be done.
Be it the right to bear arms, health care, or your privacy, it's all under attack.
You and I are being stripped of our liberties and rights under the constitution.

Watched a bit of his town hall and really it was a speech more than anything and all staged for him.-What a bunch of CRAP and the lies he is feeding those people and they eat it up like candy and ask for more.
