I did a search for a odyssey battery and there isen't one that will fit a king 700 2007 that i see. The Odyssey pc 625 foot print is to large which is L 6 3/4 *** H 6 57/64 *** W 3 29/32 ... The king 700 2007 battery foot print is length 6 inches by 3 1/2 wide....I didn't see anyone with a 2007 king 07 with a PC 625 Odyssey installed . So the next best is YTX20ch-bs which is 270 cca ????? Which is Stock ...I hate to do that because I run odysseys in all my bikes and love them. What to do? I know somebody has a answer here!

Odyssey tries to fill all applications with as few designs as possible, therefor the one that will drop into your battery box will likely be significantly smaller than optimal in at least one of the three dimensions.

Odyssey batteries are AGM, the same technology used in the stock King Quad battery that does fit perfectly. The only difference technically speaking, is that Odysseys come prepared for service while the stock YTX20CH-BS Yuasa comes with separate electrolyte and it is expected that the dealer/seller will activate it for service. Don't let them!
Like as not they will not activate it properly, and you will be the one to wear it.

Get it in the package, unopened, prepare it for service yourself (according to the nyroc Tech Tips guide), and you have a battery that outperforms the Odyssey and because it will have been activated later, will outlast it as well.

PS The 625 Odyssey, as well as having fewer cold crank amps, also has the + and - terminals on the 'wrong' ends, requiring mods to the Kings high amp wires.

Thanks, Glenlivet
Your fast, Your on top of this sh*t, Thanks again. Seen the + and - terminals on the 'wrong' ends. I was willing to do what it takes to get the best. Nothing but the best for my king. I called my dealer and they have one (YTX20 CH-BS) there unopened. Jumping on the bike and going to get it for $113 and that'll be that. FIll it let it set(for how long?) over night and charge,Correct?

-Upend the electrolyte pack and let it drizzle down at its own speed, so that bubbles and airlocks don't form.
-Let it sit for 2 hours minimum before charging, for the electrolyte to soak into the matte.
-Charge it for 8-10 hours or so with a maximum 2 amp charger. Not an old car trickle charger, those things are rated at 2 amps for a car battery, they put out more into a smaller load.
A modern voltage controlled charger is best, a 'smart' charger, a battery maintainer, a battery tender, one of those. The 1.5 amp ones work fine too.
Then you're good to go.

the only battery i will ever buy for my atv's will be the extreme magna power, I beleive they are made by deca and i think i bought it at autozone. fully sealed fully charged no acid or pre charging its ready to go out of the box. I bought it for like 75 bucks any other battery like this that is sealed and ready to go i found costs over 100 dollars. it fits like a glove in the king too. They have a good warranty also.

Bought my YTX20CH-BS Yuasa , put in the electrolyte pack. Let it soak in for 4 hours. Now on charge at 1.3 amp with this charger(link below). I use it on my odysseys and it works well. I'll get one more batteryminder.... Thanks for the fast replys

You should be golden! I usually don't even put mine on the maintainer now that I've prepped and charged my battery myself. I had 2 dealers get me 3 batteries that failed right away when they prepped them.
